Navarasa Multimedia 4.0 now has sophisticated HTML integration.
You can publish your presentations for the web and Navarasa will
create the necessary HTML and JavaScript code.
All files are HTML 4.0 and CSS Level 1 and 2 compliant.
Presentations are pixel-perfect on Netscape, IE on Windows and on the Macintosh.
How it Works
Navarasa uses absolute positioning of layers to achieve pixel-perfect control
of layouts. This requires Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) support in your browser.
You will also require a JavaScript 1.2 enabled browser to correctly run your presentations
made in Navarasa. Your presentations will work on Internet Explorer 4.0 and above, Netscape Navigator 4.0 and above, Netscape Gecko (Navigator 6), and Opera 4.2.
New features
You can preview your presentations using the internal Navarasa preview, which lets
you work on your existing presentations for publishing on CD-ROM, or you can view them
using the HTML preview which first generates the HTML page and then displays it in an
IE control inside Navarasa. If you wish, you can preview the page using a browser of
your choice. Navarasa is configured to preview using Internet Explorer and Netscape
Navigator. You can optionally configure a third browser in the Preferences.
Preview On Server
Navarasa also has a neat feature called 'preview on server'. This will generate a page
and place it in a directory of your local web server. It will then preview the page
using the actual web server's IP, thus enabling the preview to properly execute any
server-side CGI scripts you have been working on (PHP or ASP, for example). You can configure
this using the Preferences option.
Forms
You can place form elements anywhere on the screen and Navarasa will generate the necessary code to manage them all. The HTML Form is connected to the various form elements on the same layer automatically.
Flash
You can embed your Shockwave Flash presentations anywhere on the screen. Navarasa lets you use as many different Flash animations as you want.
