Navarasa 4 has many new features that makes it more powerful and web-compatible.  Some of the features are described below.

Compact standalone presentation file

The Navarasa 4 published files are highly compressed and can be distributed over the internet.  The new viewer allows you to open projects from a URL on the web.  All images use JPG compression.

Load HTML pages

You will be able to follow hyperlinks to pages and images on the internet from within Navarasa.  The HTML pages will be formatted and displayed within the Navarasa topic area.  You can load html pages or you can execute cgi or ASP scripts and display the results.

Improved Screen Designer

Several enhancements have been made to the Screen Designer window allowing you to work more easily.  You can edit properties for multiple objects at the same time.

Layers

Navarasa 4 has extended the concept of groups and now uses layers.  Layers make it easier to work with your presentation by letting you show and hide objects in the Screen Designer.  You can also make a layer non-selectable so that you can see it while working but cannot select objects in the layer.

RGB Image Adjustment

The new RGB Color adjument allows you to quickly change the appearance of images by brightening or darkening the image's red-green-blue values.

Object Groups

You can group multiple objects together and treat them as a single object.  The objects can have actions and scripts, which will be executed normally.  Grouped objects can be manipulated as a normal objects, and an additional Edit option allows you to edit the objects within the group. Grouped objects are not displayed in the HTML preview.

Libraries

Using library objects you can quickly re-use your work in different screens and different presentations.
